Staff Profile

First grade is such an amazing year and I’m so excited to be a part of it! I taught at Jackson school for over 30 years and now I am so excited to be in my 4th year as a first grade teacher at Maxfield. I always welcome you into the classroom and I encourage your participation in your child’s education both at school and at home.  It takes a commYOUnity to help each child reach his/her full potential. We strengthen our Maxfield first grade community through CARES to encourage being cooperative, assertive, respectful, responsible, empathetic and safe Maxfield Learners, who are mindful of their actions. My First grade class is an amazing group of academic students!  They are enthusiastic learners and delightful children!  Please feel free to visit our classroom at any time to take a peak at all of the fantastic things we have going on each day!!  YOU make a difference!!
