Regular attendance is essential to a student's success in school. Students are expected to be in school regularly and on time each day. The only excused absence is for student illness, or death in the family. Each student is expected to bring a written excuse to the attendance clerk after each absence. If your child is absent, please notify the school by calling 293-8680 before 9:30 a.m.

We need a written excuse when your child returns to school after an absence. If we have no contact or no written notice the absence will be unexcused. After 7 or more unexcused absences, your family will be asked to attend an attendance workshop at our school. Please work with us to make sure your child/children attend school every day and on time.

If your child arrives to school after the 9:05 bell rings, they must report to the front office to receive a tardy slip. Chronic tardiness will also not be tolerated: we need our children in school, on time.

The School District determines when St. Paul schools will be closed due to inclement weather. Listen to WCCO Radio (830 on the AM dial) for school closing announcements.
