MEET MS. BITTNER

 

Where were you born?  Rugby, North Dakota

How many brothers and sisters do you have?  I have three sisters and two brothers. 

What grade was your favorite when you were in elementary school?  3rd Grade

Who was your favorite teacher?   Mrs. Sharon Knutt

 Where did you go to college? University of North Dakota & University of St. Thomas

 What is your favorite thing to do?  Travel and spend special time with my family. 

 How many children do you have? Six

 What is your favorite food?  I love all kinds of food, but my favorite is always dessert.

 What is your favorite book?  Where the Red Fern Grows

 What is your favorite candy and candy bar?  DOTS and Butterfinger

 What is your favorite sport? Any sport my children are presently playing.  I do love the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.

 What is your favorite kind of music?  Anything from the 80’s is my favorite.

What is your favorite song?  We Are the World

What is your happiest moment?  I’ve had too many to pick one, but I admit watching my children grow up has been a true wonder.  Seeing the Statue of Liberty when I turned 40 was incredible.

What places would you like to visit?  Italy and Austria

 What is your wish for the new school year?   Instill the love of learning in each child by nurturing the whole child every day.

 What do you want your students’ parents to know?  That they are welcome in the classroom to observe, volunteer, and visit anytime they wish.  The door is always open!
