|  | | | | Mary Andres, Speech/Language Pathologist | | Hi! My name is Mary Andres and I am a speech/language pathologist two days a week at Maxfield Elementary. I am in my fourth year with the St. Paul Public Schools.
Previously, I worked in medical clinics in pediatrics and in community service at a Head Start site. I received my Master's Degree at the University of Minnesota in 1992, and obtained my Certificate of Clinical Competence in 1993.
In addition to Maxfield, I also provide speech and language services at Museum Magnet three days a week in the areas of articulation, language comprehension, oral expression, voice disorders and speech fluency. At both schools I work with students individually or in small groups on their Individual Education Plan goals. I collaborate with teachers and parents to help increase achievement in the classroom and communication skills across all settings of my students' lives.
