 | | Alicia Cannova Liddle - OT | I received my Occupational Therapy degree from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison and worked for a school district near Chicago,
Illinois prior to joining Saint Paul Public Schools in 2007. I enjoy
dancing (Hip Hop and West African) and hanging out with my "Little"
sister (through the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Program) in my free time.
As an Occupational Therapist in the educational environment, I assist
special education students with fine motor skills (such as cutting,
coloring, handwriting. etc.), sensory motor skills (utilizing sensory
"tools" such as ball chairs and hand manipulatives) and activities of
daily living (such as manipulating clothing fasteners, lunchroom
packages/utensils, washing hands, etc.). I primarily work with students
within their regular education environments in addition to one-on-one
and small group services. I am an itinerant special education provider,
meaning that I work in multiple schools and with a variety of grade
levels and programs.
